Can I open PES files on my phone?
Yes. HoopView opens PES and PEC designs from Brother and Babylock machines on Android, along with DST, EXP, JEF, VP3, XXX and U01 files.
Which embroidery file formats does HoopView support?
PES, PEC, DST, EXP, JEF, VP3, XXX and U01, plus ZIP archives that contain supported designs. Browse a whole collection without unpacking it.
Does HoopView work offline?
Yes. Viewing, stitch playback and measurements all run on your device. Files need to be stored locally; only cloud downloads and Pro purchases use a connection.
Is HoopView free?
Viewing is free and unlimited: zoom, measurements, color stops, stitch playback, PNG sharing and unlimited linked folders. Pro is a one-time upgrade that adds alternate thread colors, machine-file and PDF exports, and saving a whole ZIP to a folder or USB.
Can HoopView create or digitize embroidery designs?
No. HoopView is a viewer for existing machine embroidery files. Digitize in your embroidery software, then bring the file to HoopView for a closer look before you stitch.
Are my designs uploaded anywhere?
No. Designs are read and rendered on your phone and never sent to a HoopView server. Files only leave the app when you choose to export or share them.
